Background
NMMUK Sunderland required reliable communication between main high-voltage (HV) panels and remote solar farm panels. Previous attempts by other providers had failed due to the challenges of the site's scale and the need for uninterrupted data flow. Traditional cabling solutions were impractical, requiring extensive trenching and disruption to existing infrastructure. Juggle Energy was brought in to solve this problem with a robust, wireless-first approach.
Solution
Leveraging our advanced networking and Modbus expertise, we designed and deployed a cutting-edge solution using G100 over 4G, eliminating the need for kilometers of serial and Ethernet cabling. To ensure resilience, we integrated our proprietary LoRa mesh failover (J-Mesh), which maintains real-time data availability even during 4G dropouts.
